Adam Yong brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of search engine optimisation and application engineering. With a Computer Science background, he approaches SEO not as a marketing tactic but as a technical discipline — one that requires deep understanding of how search systems, and now AI systems, evaluate, rank, and recommend businesses.
Before founding AI SEO Malaysia, Adam built and scaled multiple technology products used by thousands of businesses worldwide. His engineering-first mindset means every recommendation is grounded in data, tested against real-world results, and implemented with precision.
When large language models began reshaping how consumers discover businesses, Adam recognised the opportunity early. He shifted focus to study how AI platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity select which businesses to recommend — and developed systematic methods to influence those recommendations for Malaysian businesses.
Today, Adam works directly with established service-area businesses across Greater KL and Selangor, helping them secure visibility in the AI search landscape before the window closes.
